The nightmare is always the same. The room is dark. I can’t actually see the speaker, but I hear his voice droning on and on about something utterly irrelevant. PowerPoint slides loaded with indecipherable words and charts march like a legion of tormentors across the screen. Nearby, a woman snores softly, barely audible over the constant clacking of tiny smart phone keys all around me. Just as a slide with some of the text displayed sideways somersaults onto the screen, I awaken to the sound of my own screaming.
